Deniliquin Childcare Centre is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
This is a full-time role (minimum 4 days per week), with shifts worked within service hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm.
This permanent opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about high-quality early childhood education and is looking to work in a supportive, professional and community-connected service.
The Opportunity
Join a dynamic and established team and help create an inspiring, engaging learning environment where children, families and educators are genuinely valued. You will be supported to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children.
You will work in an architecturally designed early learning environment that reflects the principles of the National Quality Framework, supporting children’s wellbeing, agency and learning. Our service features extensive outdoor learning environments, enabling children to engage in play-based learning, exploration and risk-taking in ways that promote physical wellbeing, creativity and connection to the natural environment (NQS Quality Area 3).
In this role, you will:
-
Care for children aged 0–5 years, gaining experience and developing skills across different age groups
-
Implement play-based, child-centred learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
-
Use indoor and outdoor environments as a “third teacher” to support children’s learning, wellbeing and development
-
Build positive, respectful partnerships with families and the wider community, including regular excursions and community incursions (NQS Quality Area 6)
-
Work collaboratively within a professional team committed to reflective practice and continuous improvement
About You
You will:
-
Hold an approved early childhood qualification (Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor), or be willing to work towards a qualification through a traineeship
-
Demonstrate strong communication skills and engage positively with children and families
-
Respond to children in a respectful, nurturing and supportive manner
-
Show initiative, follow guidance, and work collaboratively as part of a team
-
Bring a caring, positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning and development
